Rajya Sabha: Following the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha MPs were punished, with 45 opposition MPs suspended at the same time.

Action was taken against Rajya Sabha members in the winter session of Parliament on Monday, following Lok Sabha MPs. 45 opposition members of parliament were barred from the Rajya Sabha for the duration of the current session on suspicion of interfering with Parliamentary business. Jairam Ramesh Randeep Surjewala of the Congress and KC Venugopal are among the prominent Rajya Sabha MPs who are among the suspended MPs.

In the winter session of Parliament on Monday, action was taken against members of the Rajya Sabha, after MPs from the Lok Sabha. 45 opposition lawmakers were suspended from the Rajya Sabha for the length of the current session after it was alleged that they had interfered with legislative business. Jairam Ramesh KC Venugopal and Congressman Randeep Surjewala are two of the well-known Rajya Sabha lawmakers who are suspended.

Senior Congress Rajya Sabha MPs Jairam Ramesh, Randeep Surjewala and KC Venugopal are suspended. 33 MPs were already suspended from the Lok Sabha. 33 people including Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Choudhary, Saugata Roy are involved in this. Action has been taken so far against 92 MPs of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
